1. Eligibility & Participation
Participation in Startup Weekend Jaipur is voluntary. By registering, the participant confirms that they meet the eligibility criteria of the event and have obtained parental/guardian consent where required.
2. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally throughout the event. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct may result in immediate disqualification without refund or compensation.
3. Event Schedule & Format
The organizers reserve the right to modify the event schedule, structure, mentors, judges, or activities due to unforeseen circumstances, without prior notice.
4. Intellectual Property
Any ideas, concepts, or projects developed during the event remain the intellectual property of the participants. The organizers, sponsors, and partners will not claim ownership of participants’ ideas.
5. Use of Media & Promotion
Participants grant permission to the organizers to capture photographs, videos, and recordings during the event and use them for promotional, marketing, and documentation purposes without any compensation.
6. Health, Safety & Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and personal belongings during the event. This includes items such as laptops, mobile phones, wallets, and other valuables. The organizers shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
7. Liability Disclaimer
The organizers, sponsors, partners, and venue authorities shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss, damage, accident, or injury arising during participation in the event.
8. Disqualification Rights
The organizing team reserves the right to disqualify any participant found violating event rules, ethical standards, or terms and conditions.
9. Parental Consent
For participants below the age of 18, submission of form confirms that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and approved the participant’s involvement.
10. Data Usage
Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for event communication and management purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
11. Final Authority
All decisions made by the organizing committee regarding the event shall be final and binding.
